Once an estimate has been signed and confirmed, the assignment is scheduled. It may be helpful to compile a shot list for the project prior to the shoot. While we are totally at ease with working on our own, it is a good idea to have a representative present, at least at the beginning of the shoot, to do a walk through of the project and discuss views and angles.
Using state-of-the-art digital architectural photography camera equipment allows us to shoot previews to a laptop computer during the process of lighting and fine-tuning the composition of each view, which gives you, the client, a good opportunity to share in the outcome of the shoot.
Client involvement is particularly relevant in a cost share situation where each party is entitled to architecture and interior photography that will work for their promotional purposes.
