02.22.08 - Client & Publication Lists Added
Recent visitors to rogerwadestudio.com may have noticed that we have been busy updating and enhancing our website. One of our major accomplishments has been the additions of our client and publication lists to our Portfolio section and our Links & Resources page. By providing links to our clients' websites, we have created a valuable and extensive network of architects, builders, producers, designers, publishers, associated businesses and professional organizations conveniently at your fingertips. Please take a moment to click through the list and check out what these businesses have to offer.
01.31.08 - 2008 Travel Itinerary
Looking ahead at the coming months, here is our projected itinerary for architectural photography in 2008. If there are any projects you are considering having photographed in the following regions please let us know.
-We are available for local (Montana) shooting until we leave for Colorado towards the end of February. We plan to work our way down through Colorado into northern Arizona, extending into March.
-In April we will be flying to Florida to begin our work in the southeastern and southern states. We will go as far north as southern Virginia. Last year we continued from the southeastern states directly across Arkansas, and up into Missouri. In 2007 we also went down into Oklahoma and Texas, which took us into May. It looks like we will be doing that again this year.
-During the second half of May we will be working in California, from the Palm Springs area over to the coast, up into the San Francisco area and then west into the western Sierras and Tahoe region. We will be going to Hawaii as well, and it may work out to catch a flight from CA to Hawaii, then back to CA to finish our shooting there.
-June looks good for the midwest and eastern states, just like the past few years.
-July through September we typically stay close to home-Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, Colorado...sometimes we shoot over on the Washington coast and Oregon during this time period. We are also attempting to make a long-awaited shooting trip to Alaska in July. Additionally, we will be shooting architecture photography in western Canada this summer.
-October scheduling is still up in the air. Last year we made another swing to the midwest and eastern states, and then dropped south into the southeastern states again. This year it will just depend on how much work there is, and where...your feedback could be very useful in helping determine our October locations.
-Winter and holiday shoots will be figured out closer to the end of 2008. This winter we have been fortunate to have quite a bit of winter shooting right here in Montana, and nearby northern Idaho.
01.26.07 - New Search Functionality Added
Those of you familiar with our stock photo database may have noticed a new link appear under search results when browsing our stock architectural photography. If you haven't already discovered it, the new link "View Entire Project", will do exactly what is says. Clicking the link will bring up all photographs associated with that particular project. So if you have found an interesting image and would like to see the other architecture and interior photos taken for that job, the easiest way is through this link.
Over the next several weeks, we will be giving rogerwadestudio.com a minor facelift as we continue to improve the functionality of our site. These improvements will make finding the architectural images and interior photography you need in our online stock library quicker and easier than ever and should not affect the operation of our site during our upgrade.
12.20.06 - rogerwadestudio.com Wins Marketing Award
We are pleased to announce that the National Association of Home Builder's Building Systems Councils has awarded us the 2007 Excellence in Marketing Award in the category of Associate Member Website. It has taken a lot of hard work to make our website a powerful online resource for photography buyers and we thank NAHB for the recognition. Our aim is to make rogerwadestudio.com the best architectural stock photography site available. As always, if you have any suggestions as to how we can better serve you, we would love to hear about it.
12.18.06 - 5,000 Images and Counting
With the fall photo tour now behind us, we have been able to change our focus, shift into high gear and add many more photographs to our website including stock residential photography, stock interior photography and commercial stock photos. In the last two months, we have doubled our stock image database to over 5,000 images. While five grand is a great start and a fair chunk of bits and bytes, we are still a long way from the finish line. Be on the lookout for new images in the coming months as we will be making many more photos available online.
From everyone here at Roger Wade Studio, we wish you a very merry Christmas and a happy and safe holiday season.
10.16.06 - 2,500+ Stock Photographs Online
The last several weeks have been a busy time here at Roger Wade Studio. Roger and Debbie are currently away on their fall photo tour. After photographing new projects in Montana, Wyoming, Utah, Colorado, Wisconsin and Michigan, they are now working their way east and are far from finished. Before it is over, they will have visited Maine, New Hampshire, Virginia, North Carolina and Georgia too.
While Roger and Debbie are roaming across America, we are hard at work here at the office. In less than a month, we have more than doubled the number of images in our online catalog to 2,500 architecture and interior design photos. Many of the new additions are beautiful timber frame photos. Keep checking back as there is much more to come as we head into winter.
09.21.06 - At One with the Land, Architectural Digest
Be sure to pick up a copy of Architectural Digest's October issue for a look at some of Roger's recent architecture photos. Architect Jim McLaughlin created this Sun Valley vacation home to blend unobtrusively into its mountain surroundings without compromising the stunning ridgetop views the property affords. Designed by Libby Brost, the house is styled in a contemporary motif that sets it apart from the more prevalent, western designed homes of the area. The article begins on page 110 or you can check it out on Architectural Digest's website. To see all architecture photographs of this project click here.
09.18.06 - Over 1,000 Images Online
We have been working hard to upload our extensive collection of architecture and interior design photography into our new online stock library and have recently passed the 1,000 mark. There is still much work to do and thousands of more images to upload, so check back regularly to see what is new. As always, if you are having difficulty finding what you are looking for or you would like to talk directly to a person, give us a call at 800-507-6437 and we will be happy to assist you.
09.01.06 - Our Stock Photography Search is Operational
With our online stock database active, it is now easier than ever to find the architectural photos you seek. Just click the "Stock Photo Search" link to go to our search page. The closed and open vocabulary searches are convienent ways to search the captions and keywords of our architectural images. The process of licensing our photography is now easier too.
